Infrastructure Engineer
A Senior IT support engineer is required to join the Congrex IT support team in Panama.
Congrex is the leading world wide expert offering integrated solutions for the association services industry, corporate and governmental events. The Congrex IT division supports Congrex offices with IT infrastructure and hardware support world wide. This person will be responsible for hardware and network support for the UK based offices as well as assisting with support to all other clients when required (globally).
The job requires excellent communication and telephone assistance skills. Travel within work to other office destinations in Americas such as Caracas and Costa Rica is to be expected.
The appropriate candidate will need to adapt very quickly to changing environments. Working under pressure and meeting deadlines are key aspects to the roll, to meet client satisfaction expectations.
Your priorities will be as a local regions 3rd Line engineer working together with 1st and 2nd Line resources in your region on daily basis. But you as a candidate will need to work with tasks from 1st – 3rd Line.
Job Specification:
- Assisting with external client support through communications on helpdesk systems.
- Supporting IT infrastructure and hardware support to Congrex group offices.
- Installation and support of Congrex applications on client computers and networks.
- Networking, installation and application support at client events as required.

Supporting user’s usage of electronic devices such as computers, phones, PDAs, printers, copying-machines, faxes, etc.
Installation of computers
Administration of antivirus applications
Installation and updates of software applications
Installation of temporary office at conference venues globally (international travel required)
Manage user information in Active Directory
Support and configuration of Office Applications
