Application Development Trainer

Deliver effective object oriented application development training that meets the needs of the business.
Provide professional support/advice and assistance to the various training programs that exist within the organization and support the business in developing and delivery of training plans.
Work closely within the HR function by providing support to the brand/business structure.
Work with HR in the recruiting and selection of trainees.

To provide assistance in the design and delivery of training that is appropriate to the needs of the business
To maintain high standards of presentation
To be able to communicate ideas that help to improve the training provision
To facilitate and support fellow team members in the delivery of training packages
To propose new training initiatives that enhance the training portfolio and provide cost effective training
To maintain administrative functions necessary for the efficient and effective delivery of training
To respond positively to the training and development enquiries of all employees
To provide mentoring/coaching support to trainees assigned to you
To work closely within the HR function through supporting assigned brands and businesses
To maintain training equipment in a neat and safe working condition
To research and formulate new courses in line with company needs
To ensure that the confidentiality of information is maintained
To effectively control specific administrative functions designated to the holder
To have a flexible approach to work times, ensuring best utilization of available time
To provide field support to training team as required
To support any given project as designated
To produce training plans
To use ‘best practice’ approach to T & D delivery ensuring effective return on investment, effective evaluation and quality assurance.

QUALIFICATIONS:
BS Systems Engineering / Computer Science
Masters in Computer Science Fields
Formal training in delivery of training courses
Fully bilingual (English / Spanish)

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
At least 5 years experience in a software based industry.
Understanding of training and development practices and procedures
Object Oriented Programming (Java, C#, C++)
Platforms: Windows, Linux, .Net
Agile Development Methodologies
Documentation Methodologies: UML
