Spanish Editors

Duties and Responsibilities
• Reviewing native language translations
• Proofing foreign language translations
• Collaborate with Spanish translation and editorial team
• Evaluate translations
• Assist with glossary management
• If background education coincides, translate

Educational requirements
• Native knowledge of Spanish – structure and grammar
• Good knowledge of written English – structure and grammar
• Strong writing skills
• Experience in Editing or Translation an asset
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer
• Knowledge of translation software, Trados, Wordfast, an asset

Soft Skills
• Must be native in Spanish
• Native or fully fluent in English
• Third language an asset
• Able to work well in a team
• Very attentive to details
• Ease with foreign languages
• Ability to work under pressure
• A positive can-do attitude
