Telecom Engineer

Responsibilities
• Design, test, and support development of libraries, correlation rules, reports, and other related deliverables for voice and data network performance and fault management solutions.
• Consult with customers to improve their use of TTI solutions and increase the value of solutions to customers’ business operations
• Consult and advise TTI product, project, and architecture teams to improve TTI’s solutions, achieve library standards and reusability, and improve overall delivery efficiency
• Apply network management experience and expertise to support project teams with advice and consulting.
Technical Background:
• Network equipment and architecture expertise
• Recognized as a subject matter expert in one or more disciplines of telecommunications, including but not limited to:
 RF Engineering
 GSM and/or CDMA wireless networks
 IP and data networking (LAN/WAN, Switching, Routing)
 Wireless Data experience
 Emerging technologies (IMS, Wi-Max)
• OSS & Network Operations user experience – NOC operations, network planning, network capacity management, etc.
• Network operations process analysis and development
• OSS functional requirements analysis and document preparation in one of the following areas: performance measurement and management, fault management, Call Detail Record processing and analysis
• Experienced with network management protocols (SNMP, XML, ASCII)
• Familiar with network management standards (TMF, 3GPP)


Soft Skills:
• Ability to work in a fast paced, self motivated environment
• Excellent written, oral communication, and mentoring/consulting skills
• Success working in high performance teaming environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft office applications, especially Excel
• Speaks and writes fluent Spanish and English.
