American Youth Work Center is calling young professionals and recent graduates from Costa Rican and Panama to apply for a Social Work Opportunity in the USA REQUIREMENTS: * ENGLISH at 80% * 2 years working with children (ages 0-21) * Bachelors Degree (preferably in education, psychology, social work, or related area) * 21-35 years old The American Youth Work Center’s Practical Training Program offers professional training experience in the US in the field of youth and adult social work. Improve your English and gain skills by participating in this paid professional experience that may later help you in your career in Central America. We are accepting applicants ages 21-35 who want to practice social work. This is an 18-month paid (US wages; $8-$10/hour plus health insurance) professional training program where you work as a social worker in the USA. Interview sessions in San Jose, Costa Rica and Panama, Panama the 3rd week of June 2007. Application deadline May 10. Applications are taken online.
